Do you know why it’s hard for her to start a conversation?

  • Because she doesn’t like you to think that she’s annoying or that she’s bothering you. That you’re maybe just forced to talk to her because she initiated the conversation.
  • Because there’s nothing really to talk about. Even though she would like to talk to you, well there’s nothing to talk about. If she started the conversation, she thinks that it will just fade out. The conversation will just end quickly or you might not respond. That you would just leave her hanging during a conversation.
  • Because at times you made it feel like you’re not interested in talking to her. You sound or look bored while you are talking to her. Like she’s not worth your time. That you would rather do something else than talking to her. You might not listen and pay attention to what she’s saying. Or suddenly you would just ignore her.

It’s hard to start something to talk about if the person doesn’t want a conversation with you. It hurts to feel that way. The feeling of being neglected, ignored and left out. So she would rather not start a conversation, if it would just leads to this. Even if she exerted effort, it will just be put to waste.
